Through the recent 2 days contacts with one of the old help seekers in the children penitentiary, who is now in Rajai Shahr prison, the following have been done:

Similar to the previous appointments, we were at the criminal court since 9 am that day. It took until around 12:30 for all the members, such as the penitentiary’s representative, the defendant’s family and the prosecutor’s family and representative, to gather in the court.

The charge was in two parts; around $35000 given to the prosecutor’s family being the young decedent’s parents. This amount was gathered by a number of donators, the penitentiary and the defendant’s family. The second part was the decedent’s fiancé’s share. This share was $4000 and was provided by through the Teflan program.

After that we accompanied the decedent’s father and fiancé to the bank and to cash the check. Anyway, it was a several-hour process which was coming to an end through the decency of the decedent’s family.

Thankfully Amin R. was released and returned back to his family.
